During my stay at The Parc Hotel, I experienced a mix of positives and negatives. On the upside, the location was great for accessing nearby restaurants and local attractions like Citi Field, and the staff was friendly and responsive, especially when addressing issues. However, I encountered significant cleanliness issues and some discomfort due to room maintenance problems. While I appreciated the good intentions of the staff, the overall experience was marred by these concerns.

The hotel is conveniently located near multiple restaurants and a subway station, making it easy to explore the area. However, I did hear planes overhead frequently, which might be bothersome for some.

The complimentary breakfast was decent with some variety, including pastries and even some Asian dishes, though improvements could be made in terms of quality.

The mattress was comfortable, and I appreciated the cleanliness of the room. However, the refrigerator didn't cool well, and the air conditioning struggled to keep the space comfortable.

The staff was attentive and quick to help when I needed something. But I experienced some delays when addressing an issue with a charge on my account, which left a bit of a sour note.

The hotel's proximity to the subway and local dining options was excellent. It’s convenient for events at Citi Field, making it a good choice if you’re in town for a game.

The complimentary breakfast had decent options. I enjoyed the variety but noticed the dining area could get congested during peak times.

I enjoyed my stay at The Parc Hotel thanks to the friendly and responsive staff, who went out of their way to help, even leaving a cute treat for my dog. However, there were some drawbacks, including miscommunication regarding my service animal access to the rooftop bar and breakfast options that didn't meet my expectations. Despite these issues, the comfortable bedding and accessible location near restaurants and shopping made for a pleasant experience overall.

Rooms
8.0
The room was spacious and quiet, especially on the higher floors, which helped me get a great night's sleep. But, some of the decor felt a bit dated, despite the recent renovations.
Service

The hotel's location is fantastic, with easy access to the subway and plenty of dining options around. Plus, it’s close to Citi Field, making it convenient to catch a Mets game.
Dining

While I appreciated the complimentary breakfast, the options could use improvement, especially the eggs that seemed old. They really need to elevate the menu a bit to enhance the dining experience.

The facilities had a lot of promise, from the rooftop bar to the fitness room, but some amenities felt almost inaccessible or limited during my stay. However, the check-in process was smooth and efficient.

5.4/10

My stay at The Parc Hotel had its ups and downs. While the location is conveniently close to various restaurants and Citi Field, the room itself fell short in terms of amenities and comfort. I had issues with an air conditioner and awkward service, which made for a less than enjoyable experience overall. 😒

Rooms
5.0
My room was quite cramped and lacked a closet, desk, or chair. The broken air conditioning didn't help the situation either. 🥵
Service
5.0
The front desk staff were friendly, but the service felt lacking when I reported issues. I was given little assistance regarding my air conditioning trouble and even had an unattended trash bag left in my original room. 😠
Location
5.0
The hotel's location is right in the heart of Flushing Chinatown, which is great for exploration, though it limited my dining options to mostly Asian cuisine, not to my taste. It is only a short walk to Citi Field, making it convenient for Mets games. 🏟️
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was basic and not very impressive, especially given the surrounding dining options. It felt almost insulting compared to other hotel stays I've had.
Facilities
5.0
There were some functional amenities like a refrigerator and coffee maker, but they weren't set up properly upon my arrival, and I found the elevator to be quite unsettling.
